The Team Lead - IP DRG Coding oversees a team of inpatient coders, ensuring accurate assignment of Diagnosis-Related Group (DRG) codes based on patient records. They monitor compliance with coding guidelines, manage team performance, provide training, and ensure coding accuracy and efficiency. The role involves auditing coded records, troubleshooting coding issues, and collaborating with clinical staff to ensure proper documentation and coding practices.

Salary and Benefits:
Package - 75,000 to 90,000
HMO on day 1 with dependents
10% Night differential
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in a medical coding role.
At least 1 year of experience as a team leader in a similar profile.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Expertise in IP DRG coding, including diagnosis and PCS coding.
Certified by AAPC or AHIMA.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Must be a Registered Nurse.
