A customer specialist in a banking & finance account is crucial in building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, ensuring their financial needs are met, and contributing to the overall success and growth of the banking institution.

Job Description:

  • Assist customers with inquiries, account management, and problem resolution through various channels such as phone, email, chat, or in-person interactions.
  • Provide information about banking products and services, including accounts, loans, credit cards, and investment options.
  • Address customer concerns, complaints, and escalations promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Help customers open new accounts, update account information, and process account transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Educate customers on account features, benefits, and fees, and recommend appropriate products or services based on their needs and financial goals.
  • Assist with account closures, account freezes, and other account-related requests as necessary.
  • Process various financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments, in accordance with banking policies and procedures.
  • Verify customer identities and authorization for transactions to prevent fraud and ensure security.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and securely, balancing cash drawers and maintaining proper records.
  • Adhere to banking regulations, compliance standards, and privacy policies to safeguard customer information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and updates affecting the banking and finance industry and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell additional banking products and services to customers based on their financial needs and preferences.
  • Provide information about promotions, special offers, and loyalty programs to encourage customer retention and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, banking procedures, and industry best practices through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Share knowledge and provide guidance to colleagues to enhance team performance and service delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • At least HS Graduate with 1 year BPO experience
  • Amenable to work on-site with shifting schedule at Mandurriao, Iloilo City
